Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team at Definity. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our pet insurance offerings across multiple digital and physical channels.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate digital marketing initiatives to promote pet insurance offerings across owned, earned, and paid media channels.
- Support day-to-day operations, including content updates, quality assurance, and reporting for digital and external partner campaigns.
- Collaborate with experts in digital marketing, UX design, and SEO to optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand presence and community engagement.
- Create and optimize marketing content, such as digital ads, brochures, and promotional materials.
- Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics to inform future strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to adapt marketing tactics and strategies accordingly.
- Write and edit content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, websites, and customer letters.
- Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and progress tracking to ensure timely delivery.
- Support in executing go-to-market plans and demand generation initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Clear, effective communicator, verbally and in writing, with excellent grammar, punctuation, proofreading, and spelling skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple communities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with a collaborative spirit and approach.
- Understanding of the sales and marketing process relating to new project launches.
- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.
- Experience managing social media accounts and developing content for various channels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
- Fluency in French is an asset.
