Crisis Intervention Specialist

Donna Cona is currently seeking Crisis Counselors to support a government client. The ideal candidate must possess:
- A minimum of two years of experience in crisis counseling or one year of crisis counseling experience combined with an undergraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field;
- Experience working with Indigenous Issues and a strong understanding of the complexities involved;
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle stressful calls with sensitivity and professionalism;
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively in English;
- The ability to communicate in Cree, Inuktitut, Ojibway, or any other indigenous language is an asset;
- Security clearance at the level of RELIABILITY (eligible).
