Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Homewood Health. As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing confidential counseling, case management, and direct clinical services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver EFAP Services: Provide confidential counseling, case management, and direct clinical services to clients, including crisis intervention and risk assessments.
- Telephonic Assessments: Conduct quick and effective telephonic assessments to identify client needs and provide support.
- Case Management: Establish treatment plans, complete case progress notes, and determine case closure under the supervision of the Clinical Manager.
- Workshop Leadership: Lead workshops and training sessions as required, utilizing your expertise and passion for mental health and wellness.
- Crisis Management: Provide Crisis Management Services (CMS) on an as-needed basis, utilizing your skills and experience in crisis intervention.
- Education: Master's degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology.
- Registration: Registration in good standing with a relevant governing body, such as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage & Family Therapist, or Canadian Certified Counsellor.
- Experience: 2-3 years of clinical experience with a continuum of mental health and situational problems, including experience and training in solution-oriented and/or cognitive behavioral short-term therapies.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening skills, and proficiency in risk assessment, online research, and resourcefulness in locating and accessing emergency and/or community resources.
