At Vail Resorts, we believe that exceptional service is the cornerstone of our success, and our Food and Beverage division plays a vital role in delivering memorable experiences. As a Restaurant Team Lead, you will be a key player in overseeing restaurant operations, ensuring that service quality is upheld, and fostering a collaborative environment among staff to guarantee an outstanding dining experience for our patrons.

- Work Schedule: Full Time

Core Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive service to all guests, ensuring a friendly and responsive atmosphere.
- Manage communication via phone and radio, collaborating with team members to maintain dining area standards, including setup and clearing of tables as necessary.
- Support operations on the dining floor or in the kitchen as required to facilitate seamless service.
- Step in as a supervisor in the absence of a chef, overseeing payroll and attendance matters.
- Participate in the continuous training of team members, offering constructive feedback as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations relevant to the restaurant, staff, and guests.
- Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the restaurant and its equipment, following preventative maintenance protocols.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in restaurant operations, supervisory roles, or guest services is essential.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50lbs.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in English communication is mandatory.
