Position Overview

Join Side Asset Management Ltd as an IT Support Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring our technology infrastructure operates smoothly and efficiently.

  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or other non-university certificate or diploma lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role or equivalent experience
Work Environment

We are looking for candidates who are willing to relocate and thrive in a dynamic information technology setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate access to computer networks for users
  • Monitor and report on the performance of computer systems and networks
  • Assist users facing technical difficulties with their computers
  • Research and implement solutions by consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other resources
  • Provide guidance and training to users based on identified challenges
  • Maintain a log of problems and solutions for reference by other technical support analysts
  • Deliver business systems, network, and Internet support to users
  • Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software
  • Conduct backup and recovery operations for web servers
  • Offer exceptional customer service and manage incidents effectively
Supervision

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.
