About the Role

Care24 Homecare & Support Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities.
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist patients with personal care needs, such as toileting, feeding, and transferring.
  • Assist with Medical Care: Assist patients with medical care needs, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and providing wound care.
  • Assist with Household Chores: Assist patients with household chores, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Provide Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, including listening to their concerns and providing reassurance.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Nursing Aide Certificate, and Health Care Aide Certificate.
