About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Care24 Homecare & Support Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a sense of well-being and comfort.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as light housekeeping duties.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to healthcare professionals.
  • Administer basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with medication.
  • Transport patients to appointments and engage in outdoor activities, promoting physical and mental well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Nursing Aide Certificate, and Health Care Aide Certificate.
Work Environment

Our Healthcare Support Specialists work in a variety of settings, including home care and visiting care agencies, nursing homes, and group homes.
