We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team at Source Energy Services. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees, both on-site and remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop support for users, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Perform IT equipment provisioning and user onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for our employees.

Requirements:

  • Two or four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of proven working experience in the IT industry, with a strong focus on technical support and administration.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation, with the ability to build relationships and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365, with experience in administering and troubleshooting these systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure/Entra, with experience in administering and securing user accounts.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling and network infrastructure, with experience in designing and implementing efficient network solutions.
  • Problem-solving and root-cause determination skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of internet protocol and networking principles, with experience in configuring and troubleshooting network devices.
  • Knowledge of managed switches and UTM Firewalls, with experience in configuring and securing network infrastructure.
  • Valid driver's license, with the ability to travel to locations as required.
  • Flexibility to work remotely and take after-hours calls, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a larger team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.

What Will Help You Succeed:

  • Experience with VMware virtual infrastructure, with a strong focus on designing and implementing efficient virtualization solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud computing, with a strong focus on migrating and managing cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with the installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of camera security systems, with a strong focus on ensuring secure and efficient access to company resources.
  • Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and servicing network cabling, with a strong focus on designing and implementing efficient network solutions.
  • Experience with HMI/PLC production automation, with a strong focus on optimizing and improving manufacturing processes.
