Position Overview

The Hospitality Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of hotel operations. This position involves overseeing various departments to maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
Work Environment
  • Work is conducted in a hotel, resort, or similar establishment
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities across different departments to enhance operational efficiency
  • Establish and manage work schedules and procedures for staff
  • Perform tasks similar to those of the team members supervised
  • Prepare and submit operational reports
  • Address work-related issues, offering technical guidance and recommendations to boost productivity and quality
  • Assist guests with specific needs to ensure a pleasant stay
  • Assign, review, and oversee work assignments
  • Recruit and train new staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company policies
  • Ensure the proper functioning of computer systems and equipment, coordinating repairs as necessary
  • Order materials and supplies to support hotel operations
