About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Toronto 8 Hotel Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Scheduling: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work Schedules and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Perform same duties as workers supervised, provide guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, analyzing key performance indicators and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Problem-Solving and Quality Control: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Guest Services: Assist clients/guests with special needs, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Staff Management: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work, hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Facilities and Equipment: Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
