Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Toronto 8 Hotel Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
    • Establish and implement work schedules and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity.
    • Perform same duties as workers supervised to maintain a hands-on approach.
  • Guest Services
    • Assist clients/guests with special needs to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
    • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on hotel operations, guest feedback, and staff performance.
    • Requisition materials and supplies to maintain a well-stocked hotel.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as hospitality or business administration.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in hotel operations or management.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, and a team player.
  • Benefits

Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
  • English language proficiency required.
