About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Excavation Labourer to join our team at A & A EXCAVATING LTD. as a Construction Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on construction sites, including excavation, demolition, and site preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and skid-steer loaders to excavate and move earth and other materials.
  • Assist in the demolition of structures and the removal of debris.
  • Prepare sites for construction by clearing and grading the land.
  • Work under the supervision of a construction supervisor or project manager to ensure that tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other construction workers to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, such as construction or heavy equipment operation.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work on construction sites, which may involve working outdoors in various weather conditions. The work environment will be physically demanding, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards.
