In addition to their technical skills, they are physically fit and able to lift and move 50 pounds over 100 meters. They are also safety-conscious and must own personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, high-visibility vests, and steel-toe boots.

Key Responsibilities

  • Excavation and digging
  • Operating wheelbarrows and dollies
  • Manual handling of materials
  • Spotting equipment
  • Jackhammering and dewatering
  • Vacuuming and pressure washing
  • Operating leaf blowers and assisting with insulation
  • Awareness of steel stud framing, wood framing, and drywall procedures
  • Assisting with painting preparation and waterproofing
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools and some power tools
  • Measuring with tape measures and snapping lines using chalk lines
  • Assisting with demolition

Requirements

  • Intermediate knowledge of math
