Job Summary
The Medical Scientific Liaison will provide scientific support to healthcare professionals, including non-promotional trainings, education, and presentations. This role will also involve developing and maintaining professional relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers to stay up-to-date on the latest medical and scientific information in dermatology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide scientific support to the field-based salesforce, including non-promotional trainings, education, and presentations.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers to stay up-to-date on the latest medical and scientific information in dermatology.
- Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to physicians, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Identify and develop contact with local, regional, and national key opinion leaders and experts through internally approved field engagement plans.
- Contribute to identifying physicians, investigators, healthcare providers, and administrative stakeholders requiring support from the Medical Scientific Liaison.
- Provide field-based support to assist Medical Information in dealing with enquiries.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of clinical research and publications in the dermatology and aesthetics fields.
- Act as an internal scientific expert for Galderma's integrated dermatology products and areas of interest.
- Gather and generate actionable insights through attending congresses, engaging with external stakeholders, staying current in relevant scientific literature, tracking influencers on social media, preparing summaries, and presenting key perspectives to Galderma teams.
- Support Galderma research by identifying investigators, undertaking scientific exchange, and providing feedback and insight to medical and clinical teams.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical and scientific information.
Requirements
- Medical, Pharmacy, or higher degree qualification in a relevant life sciences field.
- Dermatology/Immunology-Biologics experience.
- Proven several years of related medical and/or research and development experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical devices industry.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and presenting scientific/medical content at a variety of levels, including to practicing clinical peers and seniors.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Meeting planning and facilitation skills and ability to interface effectively with a variety of technical platforms.
- Bilingual.
