About This Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Projects team in Burnaby, BC. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to Project Managers, ensuring the smooth execution of projects from start to finish.

Your Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers with administrative tasks, including job binders, paper flow system setup, permits, manuals, and tender forms.
  • Organize and track shop drawings, distributing them as needed.
  • Enter data and update systems with information from Project Managers.
  • Update project drawings, purchase orders, and job schedules with change orders.
  • Price, extend, confirm hours submitted, and data entry for extra work orders.
  • Ensure the site has the latest specs, drawings, shop drawings, change orders, and schedules.
  • Track shipments for orders, track backorders, and keep suppliers informed about delivery of materials.
  • Attend site meetings and site walks to record and produce minutes.
  • Print and circulate various reports associated with the project.
Your Experience and Skills
  • High School Diploma.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, administration, or an office-related position within the construction or related field.
  • High proficiency in MS Office. Experience with AutoCAD, Accubid, MS Project, is an asset.
  • Experience managing document control, file management, scheduling, data entry, and minute-taking.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and English communication skills.
  • Able to read electrical and/or construction drawings, an asset.
  • Electrical engineering degree, diploma, relevant education, or Electrician TQ, an asset.

Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000 per year, plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will commensurate with experience, skills, and overall match to the position offered.
