Industry Segment Specialist – Food & Packaging

Location: Central Canada

Overview: This role is pivotal in driving the strategic advancement of the Industry Segment (IS) and Industry Cluster (IC) in alignment with the overarching corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement national strategic initiatives tailored for the Food & Packaging sector.
  • Collaborate with the IS Manager to oversee pricing strategies and customer agreements.
  • Manage key accounts and meet established sales goals.
  • Provide coaching and training to Sales Engineers and Application Engineers.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of marketing strategies for the Food and Packaging sector.
  • Support the IS Team Leader, Sales Manager, and Management with market insights.
  • Gather product requirements from the IS to inform the ISP.
  • Maintain and develop opportunities and strategic initiatives for target accounts.
  • Initiate sales outreach with new companies within the designated territory.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Technical Degree, Master's, or equivalent in business engineering, mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering, or mechatronics.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with MS-Office, CRM tools, Share Point, and Business Object.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Specific expertise in the Food & Packaging sector.
  • Understanding of customer and market dynamics within the Industry Segment and Industry Cluster.
