Job Summary

The Funeral Director is a key member of our team at Park Lawn Corporation, responsible for delivering exceptional service to our client families and their guests. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with client families to create personalized memorialization services that meet their needs and expectations.
  • Coordinate all aspects of funeral and memorial services, including logistics, arrangements, and execution.
  • Ensure that all client families are presented with a range of options and services, and that their preferences are respected and accommodated.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless execution of services and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including obituaries, death certificates, and burial permits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with client families, community leaders, and other stakeholders to promote our services and build trust.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in service delivery.
Requirements
  • Active Funeral Director's license in good standing.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse client families and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and funeral software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as funeral service or mortuary science.
  • Previous experience in funeral service or a related field, with a strong understanding of industry practices and regulations.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, with a strong proficiency in English.
  • High level of computer literacy, with experience using software applications and systems.
