Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Funeral Assistant to join our team at Park Lawn Corporation. As a key member of our funeral services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional care and support during their time of need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Family Support: Interact directly with client families to provide emotional support and guidance throughout the funeral planning process.
  • Funeral Service Coordination: Assist in the coordination of funeral services, including greeting visitors, coordinating pallbearers, and ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place.
  • Public Space Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of public spaces, including the lobby, chapels, restrooms, and reception areas.
  • Logistical Support: Assist with the movement of casketed deceased and other related items, as well as provide support with limousine transportation for client families.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Possess a valid driver's license and be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs, with occasional lifting in excess of 80lbs.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with client families and their guests.
  • Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to emotional situations. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a positive attitude and working environment, while providing exceptional support to client families.
