Position Overview

Northcan Construction Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee and coordinate our construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Educational Background
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Work Environment

The position requires working primarily in an outdoor setting, which can be both challenging and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage daily operational plans.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee staff and volunteers.
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Establish and maintain construction schedules and monitor project milestones.
  • Negotiate and prepare contracts, including any necessary revisions.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and land.
  • Compile and present progress reports.
  • Direct and evaluate daily operations to ensure project success.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Word.
Safety and Security
  • Must be bondable and possess basic security clearance.
Transportation Requirements
  • Candidate must have access to a personal vehicle.
Work Conditions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.

Experience Requirements
