We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Coordinator to join our team at GardaWorld. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing resource planning and scheduling within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Resource Planning Strategies: Create and deploy short-term planning strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation and scheduling.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the Resource Optimization Team to gather scheduling requirements and align them with business objectives.
- Identify and Mitigate Operational Risks: Proactively identify potential issues or conflicts and propose solutions to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage Resource-Related Activities: Oversee various resource-related activities, including accommodations, shift and vacation bids, overtime, shift donations and trades, and leave of absence.
- Ensure Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resource-related information, including shifts, availability, and schedule changes.
- Support Recruitment and Training: Collaborate with HR, Recruitment, and Training teams to identify resource needs and assist in the recruitment process for attrition or additional positions as requested by the client.
- Coordinate Training and Development: Work closely with the Training Department to coordinate Screening Personnel scheduling and attendance at National Training and Certification program courses, including on-the-job training, certification testing, and other training activities.
- Analyze and Improve Resource Utilization: Create and deploy reports related to resource planning, scheduling, and performance metrics. Analyze schedule efficiency and resource utilization, identify improvement areas, and implement continuous improvement processes.
- Provide Insights and Recommendations: Provide regular updates and insights on resource-related metrics, trends, and recommendations to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Maintain Target Weekly Hours: Monitor and collaborate with other departments to maintain Target Weekly Hours (TWH).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years in resource planning or similar roles.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills to effectively interpret data and optimize scheduling processes. Exceptional multitasking skills with attention to detail. Proficient in understanding and using current computer technologies. Excellent knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Word, etc).
- Competencies: Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact and communicate with employees and clients daily. Best Practices – Maintain processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Ability to Follow Directions – Liaison with management. Workforce Planning – Monitor performance and implement improvements.
- Work Environment: In person and virtual meetings are required. Physical requirements include but are not limited to – standing, lifting, sitting for prolonged periods, extensive use of a computer/electronic device.
- Remote Work: Demonstrated ability to work remotely with little to no supervision.
- Flexibility: No set schedule – may need to work outside of regular work hours. Overtime can be controlled but may be required dependent on program needs.
- Employment Type: Permanent.
