Aecon Technical Solutions Inc. specializes in telecommunications infrastructure installations, serving residential, retail, commercial, institutional, and hospitality environments. Our highly-trained technicians are equipped to assist clients with their telecom installation needs.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Resource Planner will be responsible for performing administrative tasks related to workforce planning. This position involves working independently and as part of a team, exercising judgment, initiative, and multi-tasking skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, update, and maintain technician schedules.
  • Assist with technician onboarding procedures.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support with speed and accuracy.
  • Learns, interprets, and applies organizational policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain and organize document files.
  • Assist other staff in office duties as required.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both French and English (verbal and written).
  • Excellent computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Experience in an administrative/dispatch capacity considered an asset.
  • Strong telephone etiquette and dispatching experience is an asset.
