Position Overview

As a Food Service Supervisor at Mandarin House, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team. Your leadership will ensure that our food service meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring effective training in job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to optimize productivity and meet service demands.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service adhere to quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Budgeting: Prepare budget estimates and cost analyses for meal preparation, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Food Preparation: Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Work Conditions
