Position Overview

Cobra Rebar Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Ironworker specializing in reinforcing rebar. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where safety and precision are paramount.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
Work Environment
  • Work primarily outdoors in various conditions.
  • Engage in tasks that may involve heights, noise, and confined spaces.
Responsibilities
  • Construct and install scaffolding, falsework, and other platforms.
  • Coordinate with crane operators to position materials accurately.
  • Align, weld, or bolt structural components in place.
  • Secure steel bars or metal mesh within concrete forms to enhance structural integrity.
  • Unload and arrange steel units for efficient hoisting.
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to guide construction activities.
Certifications
  • Completion of Working at Heights training.
  • WHMIS Certification is required.
