Position Overview

Cobra Rebar Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Reinforcing Steel Installer to join our dedicated team. This role involves working in various outdoor settings, often in challenging conditions.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
Work Environment
  • Outdoor work in potentially hazardous conditions.
  • Exposure to noise and confined spaces.
  • Work at heights and in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
  • Signal crane operators for precise positioning of units according to blueprints.
  • Align, weld, or bolt structural components in place.
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh within concrete forms to enhance structural integrity.
  • Unload and arrange steel units for efficient hoisting.
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications accurately.
Certifications
  • Completion of Working at Heights training.
