About the Role

Cobra Rebar Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team as a Reinforcing Rebar Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to support the construction of concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to support the construction of concrete structures.
  • Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Align, weld, or bolt units in place to ensure structural integrity.
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures.
  • Unload and position steel units for hoisting and installation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
Requirements
  • Working at heights training.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in confined spaces.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
