Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive sales professional with a proven track record in selling custom software solutions, particularly in mobile application development, to enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and a robust network within the US retail and eCommerce sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement:

  • Conduct meetings with clients to present our offerings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted accounts.
  • Share insights on leads, clients, and sales during team meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including:
    • Upselling and cross-selling services.
    • Understanding and analyzing client business needs and objectives.
    • Detailing project requirements and scoping potential initiatives.
    • Submitting comprehensive proposals to clients.
    • Managing client budgets and negotiating terms as necessary.

Market Strategy:

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Participate in industry conferences to gain insights and identify new opportunities.

Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, focusing on upselling and renewals.
  • Analyze client requirements and objectives to align our services effectively.
  • Scope potential projects and submit proposals to clients.
  • Monitor budgets and negotiate terms as needed.

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline the sales cycle and enhance closing rates.
  • Manage multiple sales cycles effectively, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Travel as necessary for in-person client meetings and relationship building.

Industry Engagement:

  • Represent the company at industry events to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to position our services effectively.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to ensure alignment in business development efforts.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in custom software development, particularly in the US market.
  • Extensive experience in selling software solutions to enterprise clients, especially in retail and eCommerce.
  • Established network and book of business in relevant sectors.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to travel for client engagements and industry events.
