**Job Title:** Indigenous Support Teacher - On-Call

**Job Summary:**

School District #63 (Saanich) is seeking a qualified Indigenous Support Teacher to join our On-Call list. The successful candidate will provide support to students, teachers, and staff in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic and social support to Indigenous students in a classroom setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement culturally responsive lesson plans.
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful experience.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in Indigenous education.

Requirements:

  • A valid BC Teaching Certificate.
  • Commitment to supporting the full range of student abilities.
