Senior Director of Rail and Transit Infrastructure

We are currently seeking a Director of Rail and Transit Infrastructure Projects to play a pivotal role in the expansion of our Rail/Transit division. This is an exceptional opportunity for motivated and passionate professionals eager to advance their careers in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead cross-functional teams in the preliminary and detailed design phases of linear infrastructure initiatives, serving as Project Manager or Project Director.
- Oversee all project management aspects from inception to completion, including team management, budget oversight, scheduling, quality assurance, safety protocols, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with GHD Design and international design teams.
- Address contractor inquiries, review construction documents, and conduct site visits as necessary.
- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets effectively.
- Engage with clients and contribute to business development and promotional efforts for the organization.
- Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario.
- PMP certification or progress towards it is preferred.
- Experience with Regional Municipalities or Local Transit Agencies.
- Minimum of 15 years in project management within multi-disciplinary engineering teams, particularly in Bus Rapid Transit and/or Light Rail Transit Projects.
- Familiarity with alternative project delivery methods (P3, DB, PDB) and managing partnerships with contractors and consultants.
- Experience with alliance delivery models is highly advantageous.
This position reports to the Rail and Transit Lead in Ontario.
