Who we are seeking:

As our Rail/Transit division continues to expand, we are in search of a Director of Rail and Transit Infrastructure Projects. This role will be pivotal in the advancement and expansion of GHD's Transit/Rail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading cross-functional teams in the preliminary and detailed design phases for linear infrastructure projects and programs as a Project Manager or Project Director. Overseeing all facets of project management from proposal initiation to project completion, including team management, subcontractor coordination, budget oversight, scheduling, quality assurance, safety compliance, and client engagement. Collaborating with GHD Design and international design teams as necessary. Addressing contractor inquiries, reviewing shop drawings, and conducting site visits during construction as needed. Developing, monitoring, and managing project budgets. Engaging with clients and participating in business development and promotional initiatives for the firm.

What You Will Contribute to the Team:

Must be a Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario. PMP certification or progress towards it is required. Experience with Regional Municipalities or Local Transit Agencies is essential. A minimum of 15 years of project management experience with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, particularly in Bus Rapid Transit and/or Light Rail Transit projects. Proven project delivery experience in alternative project delivery methods (P3, DB, PDB), along with experience managing collaborative arrangements with contractors and consultants. Experience with alliance delivery models is highly desirable.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to the Rail and Transit Lead in Ontario.
