Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at C BATH DRYWALL LTD. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of drywall installation and finishing techniques.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in drywall installation
Work Environment

The role involves working in various settings, often at heights, and in conditions that may be dusty and noisy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply multiple coats of joint compound and sand seams and joints for a smooth finish.
  • Install metal corner beads to safeguard exterior corners.
  • Construct and install suspended metal ceiling grids and position panels for acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using appropriate tools.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets accurately.
  • Secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists effectively.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow it to dry properly.
  • Utilize a taping machine to tape over joints and embed tape in compound.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
