About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Taper to join our team at MAHIL DRYWALL LTD. as an Installation and Finishing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Tenders and Quotations: Develop and submit detailed proposals for drywall installation and finishing projects.
  • Instruct Apprentices: Provide guidance and training to junior staff members on drywall installation and finishing techniques.
  • Supervise Other Workers: Oversee the work of other drywall installers and finishers to ensure high-quality results.
  • Measure, Cut, Fit, and Install Drywall Sheets: Accurately measure and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Determine the necessary materials and labor required for drywall installation and finishing projects.
  • Operate CADD and Other Computer Software Systems: Utilize computer-aided design and other software to create detailed plans and estimates.
  • Work at Heights, on Scaffolding, or Swing Stages: Perform drywall installation and finishing tasks at elevated heights, using scaffolding or swing stages as necessary.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints, Maps, Drawings, and Specifications: Accurately interpret and follow project blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Bending, Crouching, Kneeling: Perform physical tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
    • Physically Demanding: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring sustained effort and energy.
    • Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods while performing drywall installation and finishing tasks.
    • Work Under Pressure: Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results under pressure.
    Requirements
    • 1 Year to Less Than 2 Years: Possess at least 1 year of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
