About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Budget Insulation & Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to create smooth and even surfaces.
  • Finishing: Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a seamless finish.
  • Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces for installation, including filling joints and holes with joint compound.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate power tools and equipment to install and finish drywall, including taping machines and sanders.
  • Worksite Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and a client-focused approach.
