Your Role:

As a Payroll & Accounting Specialist, you will oversee a variety of financial operations, including payroll processing, banking transactions, accounts receivable, and budget management.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating independence while upholding accuracy and professionalism. This role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities.

In this position, you will leverage your analytical skills to enhance processes and take full ownership of the bi-weekly payroll function. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries from staff. We seek a candidate who is communicative, detail-oriented, and proficient with financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute bi-weekly payroll with precision and timeliness
  • Update payroll documentation and resolve discrepancies
  • Manage QuickBooks and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with auditors during audit periods
  • Oversee customer receipts and electronic payments
  • Prepare and issue monthly customer invoices
  • Contribute to month-end and quarter-end closing processes
  • Handle prepaid expenses and amortization
  • Assist in determining monthly revenue and COGS
  • Process accounts payable and vendor payments
  • Manage employee expense reimbursements
  • Reconcile credit card transactions
  • Prepare and submit use tax filings
  • Perform additional duties as required by the organization

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in financial accounting systems, Excel, G-Suite, and ADP payroll software
  • Willingness to assist in various areas as needed
  • Strong attention to detail
