Job Summary:

Vantage Living Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Multi Service Worker to join our team. As a key member of our program team, you will deliver exceptional hospitality services that enhance the quality of life and peace of mind for our seniors living within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Resident-Focused Services: Act as a program team member, delivering exemplary hospitality services that enhance life quality and peace of mind for seniors living within the community.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry Services: Deliver housekeeping and laundry services within resident suites, amenity spaces, and common and administrative areas, respecting resident needs and requests for privacy and choice.
  • Food Services: Assist with the preparation, presentation, delivery, and service of meals, following food-safe practices and company policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Companionship: Fulfill a vital resident need for communication and companionship when delivering services within resident suites and common areas.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Report observations of social isolation or changes in resident functional status to the General Manager or designate, and participate in resident service planning as requested.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Comfortable working alone or in a team environment without prescribed routines, and able to plan, organize, and deliver care and services with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: Building Service Worker Certificate, Food Service Worker Certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a hospital or hotel setting.
  • Skills and Abilities: Demonstrates a solid understanding of the intent and philosophy of assisted living, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education and Experience: Self-directed approach, able to plan, organize, and deliver care and services with minimal supervision, and First Aid Certificate is considered an asset.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies, and to work in a variety of environments, including resident suites and common areas.
