Multi-Service Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Multi-Service Worker to join our team at TOR Properties. As a Multi-Service Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional hospitality services to our residents, ensuring their comfort, security, and peace of mind.
Key Responsibilities- Food Service and Presentation: Assist in meal preparation, presentation, and service, adhering to food safety practices and ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
- Housekeeping and Laundry: Respond to non-scheduled requests for housekeeping and laundry assistance, maintaining a clean and organized environment for our residents.
- Communication and Companionship: Provide essential communication and companionship to our residents, reporting observations of social isolation or changes in resident functional status to the General Manager or designate.
- Service Planning and Coordination: Participate in resident service planning as requested, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.
- Emergency Response: Act as a backup in emergency situations, adhering to WHMIS protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Certifications: Food Service Worker Certificate or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a hospital, continuing care, or hotel setting. Food Safe – Level I & WHMIS Certifications required.
- Qualifications: Ability to self-directed plan, organize, and deliver care and services with minimal supervision. Comfortable working alone or in a team environment, in the absence of prescribed routines.
