Multi Service Worker

Job Summary:
Vantage Living Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Multi Service Worker to join our team. As a key member of our program team, you will deliver exceptional hospitality services that enhance the quality of life and peace of mind for our seniors living within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Resident-Focused Services: Act as a program team member, delivering exemplary housekeeping, laundry, and food services under the direction of the General Manager or designate.
- Qualifications and Certifications: Building Service Worker Certificate, Food Service Worker Certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a hospital or hotel setting. Food Safe – Level I & WHMIS Certifications required.
- Communication and Companionship: Fulfill a vital resident need for communication and companionship when delivering services within resident suites and common areas.
- Reporting and Documentation: Report observations of social isolation or changes in resident functional status to the General Manager or designate. Participate in resident service planning as requested.
- Housekeeping and Laundry Services: Deliver exemplary housekeeping and laundry services within resident suites, amenity spaces, and common and administrative areas. Respect resident needs and requests for privacy and choice when delivering services.
- Food Services: Assist with the preparation, presentation, delivery, and service of meals. Respect the choices and preferences of residents in meal service to enhance life quality.
- Program Support: Assist in the delivery of social and recreational programs, escort residents as requested, and participate in the overall delivery of programs and services for residents.
- Adherence to Protocols: Adhere to WHMIS protocols and infection control guidelines when performing hospitality services and maintain MSDS.
- Emergency Situations: Act as backup in emergency situations and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Building Service Worker Certificate, Food Service Worker Certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a hospital or hotel setting.
- Food Safe – Level I & WHMIS Certifications required.
- First Aid Certificate is considered an asset.
