Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Auto Claims Consultant to enhance our dynamic team.
In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to guide a team of claims professionals. You will be responsible for managing intricate claims and assisting the management team with various responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultative support on liability assessments, investigations, policy interpretation, settlement negotiations, and reserve establishment for complex personal and commercial auto claims.
- Handle sensitive escalations and complaints, including high-level issues and regulatory inquiries.
- Offer ongoing coaching and guidance to key stakeholders.
- Lead or participate in significant projects or process enhancements with minimal oversight.
- Facilitate the integration of new processes into existing operations.
- Recommend improvements to documentation, including business processes and user guides, to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct reviews and audits of auto claims files to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
- Support management and provide backup assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Extensive technical knowledge in automobile claims, with experience in legal and regulatory policy interpretation.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Auto Claims.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, advise, and mentor others to achieve results.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Strong coordination and negotiation abilities.
- Experience in workforce management and contact center environments is advantageous.
- A university degree or relevant combination of training and experience.
