Daycare Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Daycare Supervisor to join our team at 1416452 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our daycare program and ensuring the highest level of care and education for our children.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting the needs of our children.
- Activity Planning: Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest, promoting a love of learning and exploration.
- Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment, ensuring our daycare is well-stocked and equipped to meet the needs of our children.
- Health and Safety: Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, promoting a healthy and safe environment.
- Observation and Reporting: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, ensuring we are providing the best possible care.
- Environment Maintenance: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children, ensuring our daycare is a safe and welcoming space.
- School-Age Programs: Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours, providing a fun and engaging experience.
- Team Collaboration: Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants, working together to provide the best possible care.
- Certifications: Child development supervisor (ECE level 3)
- Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Personal Suitability: Punctuality, team player, values and ethics
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Other Benefits: Other benefits, permanent employment, 35 hours per week, English language
