About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Daycare Supervisor to join our team at Commercial International Group Ltd. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support to children.
  • Activity Planning: Plan and lead activities that promote learning, socialization, and physical development, including storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Supply Management: Order and manage supplies and equipment to ensure a well-stocked and organized childcare environment.
  • Child Support: Guide and assist children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's behavior and development, preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors as needed.
  • Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children.
  • School-Age Program Planning: Plan and organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours, ensuring a fun and engaging experience.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications: Possess a Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2) certification.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
  • Other Benefits: Enjoy a permanent work term, 32 hours per week, and work in a bilingual English environment.
