About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the operations of our flagship Yaletown location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of studio operations, including sales and marketing, member retention, recruiting and management, and operations.

About You

You have a passion for fitness, health, and well-being, with a strong background in full-cycle sales in a B2C environment. You are a natural leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Studio

StretchLab Yaletown is a unique wellness concept, offering customized one-on-one assisted-stretch sessions in a beautiful, open-concept studio. As our General Manager, you will be responsible for creating a positive and productive work environment, and for driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a high-volume of inbound inquiries through trial to membership sales
  • Oversee social media management and content creation
  • Execute continuous email marketing campaigns
  • Manage ongoing event-based outreach marketing efforts
  • Seek out and capitalize on PR and partnership opportunities
  • Design, develop and execute B2B/Corporate memberships
  • Manage member contracts, including collect outstanding dues
  • Lead and manage a team of 10+ employees (Sales Representatives and Flexologists)
  • Recruit new employees on a continual basis, as needed
  • Analyze, track and submit studio reporting and forecasting (sales, staffing, operation, revenue, P&L)
  • Ensure that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
  • Maintain studio cleanliness and organization
  • Enforce studio policies and procedures
Requirements
  • 3+ years of demonstrated excellence in comprehensive studio management
  • Successful track record driving all revenue streams from membership sales to retail
  • Ability to thrive independently and collaborate with studio owner
  • Accomplished in hiring, training and leading employees
  • Impeccable writing, grammar, communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
  • Excel with computers and studio management software
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional, punctual, reliable and neat
  • An affinity and passion for fitness and wellness
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment
