The Finance Transformation and Cloud ERP division is in search of a dedicated and innovative professional to contribute to the Cloud ERP Initiative, with a primary focus on Quote to Cash and Indirect Tax processes. This team is an integral part of our Controllership organization, representing all stakeholders in our transformative journey. Our efforts include the deployment of Workday Financials and the establishment of a new indirect tax engine for revenue and expenditure. This initiative directly supports our Corporate Strategy to create efficient, automated, and resourceful processes through modern technology.

Your Impact:

  • Engage in a dynamic, high-growth environment characterized by tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Possess a robust understanding of global and localized Billing, Credit, Collections, and Cash Applications processes, including Compliance and Data requirements.
  • Demonstrate a clear grasp of tax processes related to Quote to Cash (Q2C) and Source to Pay (S2P), particularly concerning Tax Compliance Requirements.
  • Have a solid understanding of the business implications on upstream and downstream functions such as Sales, Accounting, and Reporting.
  • Exhibit creativity and critical thinking to challenge existing practices and envision innovative solutions within the Salesforce and Workday ecosystems.
  • Collaborate across functional teams to identify dependencies and highlight risks associated with other teams' activities.
  • Foster strong business partnerships and effective communication across Sales, Tax, Controllership, Revenue Operations, IT, and Compliance organizations.
  • Engage with external business and systems integrators within the Quote to Cash and Indirect Tax workstreams.

This role will report to the Director of Finance Transformation and Cloud ERP, overseeing the Quote to Cash and Indirect Tax workstream.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate process owner testing efforts, implementing unit and end-to-end testing, including test scenario creation and user acceptance testing support.
  • Collaborate with business partners across various functions to meet operational needs.
  • Represent the business perspective when working with integrators and technology teams.
  • Assist in delivering scalable, secure, and flexible solutions in collaboration with business advisors.
  • Develop future processes leveraging Salesforce and Workday functionalities, providing recommendations for new implementations.
  • Offer critical insights for Q2C/IDT based on process knowledge and future state vision.
  • Identify and prioritize use cases for Q2C/IDT.
  • Influence decision-making to enhance business value.
  • Communicate project status to cross-functional teams and management, raising any blockers with proposed solutions.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving reporting, analytical tools, and technical business practices.
  • Mitigate operational risks in process design.
  • Design and implement controls associated with business processes to enhance our compliance environment.
  • Collaborate with the Change Management team to document changes and impacts on partner groups.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Experience working with remote management and business partners.
  • A degree or equivalent relevant experience is required, evaluated based on the role's Values & Behaviors.
  • Over 3 years of operational experience managing Quote to Cash and Indirect Tax processes or systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to analyze quantitatively, solve problems, and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in complex global organizations with large-scale ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of SOX control design and documentation.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in response to new information and changing circumstances.
  • Ability to approach responsibilities with an open mindset and serve as a Change Champion for the Finance Transformation and Cloud ERP team.

Experience/Skills Desired:

  • Experience in Revenue Billing.
  • Familiarity with Workday Financials.
  • Knowledge of Vertex.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
