Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team at Trade Compliance Recruiting Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with trade regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in Trade Compliance, providing guidance and support to the organization.
  • Manage all Customs and government-related inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Conduct tariff classifications and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with brokers and supply chain partners to ensure smooth movement of goods.
  • Collaborate with end-users to gather information and ensure compliant clearance of goods.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements, including US and CA trade compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in Trade Compliance.
  • Proven cross-border experience in US and CA trade compliance.
  • Strong understanding of classification determination and ACE/SWI (Canada) systems.
  • Technical computer skills, including ERP experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with CCS or Broker's License highly desirable.
