Job Title: Full-Time Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Time Cook to join our team at the Highwayman Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to the highest standards, ensuring a safe and efficient food production process, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals to order, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and quality.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a full-service restaurant or similar environment.
  • FOODSAFE Level 1 certification.
  • Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures and kitchen safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
