Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests and align with our company's culinary vision
    • Ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties to the highest standards
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure that all ingredients and supplies are available when needed
    • Implement cost-saving measures to minimize waste and reduce costs
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to achieve high levels of performance and productivity
    • Provide coaching and training to staff to develop their skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as culinary arts or hospitality management
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a casino environment
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of menu planning and execution
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
