We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our Healthy Planet Kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our in-store kitchen, ensuring the highest quality and standards of our products, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering, and product rotation to meet business demands.
  • Schedule team members based on business needs and ensure effective team management.
  • Oversee the preparation of recipes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our menu offerings, ingredients, and key differentiators.
  • Drive sales by executing promotions, displaying menu items, and engaging with customers.
  • Ensure operational records, such as opening and closing procedures, are completed and maintained.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, storage area, and equipment, and coordinate repairs as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, upselling, and accommodating special requests.
  • Motivate and engage the kitchen team to provide high-quality customer service.
  • Ensure all deliveries are received and stored properly.
  • Communicate effectively with the Store Manager, planning and strategizing to drive sales.
  • Ensure all staff adhere to health and safety food regulations.
Requirements:
  • Previous kitchen management and team management experience.
  • Food Handler Certification is an asset.
  • Experience with kitchen equipment and knowledge of food handling and ingredients.
  • Knowledge of applicable rules and regulations regarding food preparation and nutrition.
  • Proficient budgeting skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven leadership abilities and passion for the Health and Wellness Culinary Space.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
