  • Strong C#, ASP.Net development required.
  • PowerShell skills are a plus.
  • Understanding and implementing SharePoint site and group site permissions is beneficial, but not mandatory if the candidate has strong experience in C# & .Net.
  • Strong understanding of Modern Authentication, Graph API, and Azure AD Application is essential.
  • Looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience.
  • Two rounds of interviews will be conducted.

Job Overview:


The Brokerage SharePoint Engineering team is tasked with constructing the SharePoint platform for both On-prem and cloud environments, facilitating firmwide collaboration as well as application hosting and development.

In addition to providing platform expertise, we deliver economies of scale and simplified management by developing management and SDLC tools, APIs, and other services for seamless deployment of critical applications.

A significant portion of our work involves enhancing vendor offerings, addressing gaps, and influencing the future roadmap of the product in collaboration with the vendor.

We are seeking an Office 365 SharePoint migration engineer to design and execute the company's Office 365 migration initiatives using industry best practices.

This role will also involve collaborating with clients to onboard them to the Office 365 platform, as well as coordinating with third-party vendors and internal teams (including LDAP Engineering, Desktop Engineering, Azure, and Office 365 engineering) to deliver a strategic migration solution.

The position demands the development and integration of custom tools, requiring the candidate to be hands-on with development targeting cloud environments.

The candidate will also work on integrating various Office 365 services, including Yammer, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Planner, and Microsoft Information Protection (MIP).


Required Skills:

  • Proficient in C#, ASP.Net, and PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of Modern Authentication, Graph API, and Azure AD Application.
  • Ability to understand and implement SharePoint site and group site permissions.
  • Experience with OneDrive Account, Site, and Permissions Management.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, and Outlook (Desktop client, Web, Mobile app).
  • Proficient in JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS for creating and updating pages, components, and scripts.
  • Capability to develop applications and system tools for implementing, deploying, and managing infrastructure systems both on-premise and in the cloud.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Jira, and other continuous integration technologies, as well as SDLC agile development techniques.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of SharePoint, including lists, document libraries, permissions, content types, and workflows.
  • Excellent understanding of Single Sign-On technologies (Ping Federate, SAML, Windows Kerberos).
  • Experience with Office 365 (SharePoint Online and OneDrive) application development, management, and deployment.
  • Understanding of Exchange Online, user profiles, features, and mail flow.
  • Ability to maintain and support all aspects of SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office 365.
  • Good communication skills to assist end-users with basic SharePoint tasks and conduct training sessions.
  • Collaborate with end-users and business stakeholders to create and update SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, pages, apps, forms, and workflows.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodology.
  • Troubleshooting experience in both on-prem and online environments, networking (Wireshark, etc.), and Microsoft Information Protection (MIP).
  • Ability to track issues, resolve them, and escalate to core engineering or Microsoft support as necessary.
  • Skills in reorganizing and restructuring site content.
  • Training users on how certain existing features may have changed in the new platform.
  • Ability to demonstrate SharePoint features and provide specialized consulting services regarding out-of-the-box features offered by SharePoint.
  • Capable of researching and recommending the use of new features and their implementation on the new platform.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with SQL programming.
  • Understanding of other services within Office 365 products such as Unified Groups, Teams, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
Understanding of eComms, Information barriers, Data classifications, and Data leakage protection.
