  • Familiarity with SharePoint site and group site permissions is beneficial, though not mandatory if the candidate has strong C# and .Net experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Modern Authentication, Graph API, and Azure AD Application.
  • Seeking candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Job Overview:


The Brokerage SharePoint Engineering team plays a crucial role in constructing the SharePoint platform for both On-prem and cloud environments, facilitating firmwide collaboration and application hosting & development.

We provide platform expertise while enhancing management efficiency through the creation of management tools, APIs, and services that streamline the deployment of essential applications.

A significant portion of our efforts focuses on augmenting vendor offerings, addressing gaps, and influencing the product's future direction in collaboration with the vendor.

We are in search of an Office 365 SharePoint migration engineer tasked with designing and executing the company's Office 365 migration initiatives, adhering to industry best practices.

This role involves collaborating with clients to onboard them onto the Office 365 platform, as well as engaging with third-party vendors and internal teams (including LDAP Engineering, Desktop Engineering, Azure, and Office 365 engineering) to deliver a comprehensive migration strategy.

The position demands hands-on development and integration of custom tools, with a focus on cloud-targeted development.

The candidate will also work on integrating various Office 365 services, including Yammer, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Planner, and Microsoft Information Protection (MIP).


Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in C#, ASP.Net, and PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of Modern Authentication, Graph API, and Azure AD Application.
  • Ability to understand and implement SharePoint site and group site permissions.
  • Experience in OneDrive Account, Site, and Permissions Management.
  • Solid troubleshooting experience with OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, and Outlook across Desktop, Web, and Mobile platforms.
  • Competence in using JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS for page creation and updates.
  • Capability to develop applications and system tools for implementing, deploying, and managing infrastructure systems both on-premise and in the cloud.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Jira, and other continuous integration technologies, along with SDLC agile development methodologies.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of SharePoint, including lists, document libraries, permissions, content types, and workflows.
  • Excellent understanding of Single Sign-On technologies (Ping Federate, SAML, Windows Kerberos).
  • Experience in Office 365 (SharePoint Online and OneDrive) application development, management, and deployment.
  • Knowledge of Exchange Online, user profiles, features, and mail flow.
  • Ability to maintain and support all aspects of SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office 365.
  • Strong communication skills to assist end-users with basic SharePoint tasks and conduct training sessions.
  • Collaborate with end-users and business stakeholders to create and update SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, pages, apps, forms, and workflows.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills for both on-prem and online environments, including networking (Wireshark, etc.) and Microsoft Information Protection (MIP).
  • Ability to track issues, resolve them, and escalate to core engineering or Microsoft support as necessary.
  • Skills in reorganizing and restructuring site content.
  • Experience in training users on changes in features within the new platform.
  • Ability to demonstrate SharePoint features and provide specialized consulting on out-of-the-box functionalities.
  • Capability to research and recommend the use of new features and their implementation on the new platform.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SQL programming.
  • Understanding of other services within Office 365 products, such as Unified Groups, Teams, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
Understanding of eComms, Information barriers, Data classifications, and Data leakage protection.
