About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a M365 Solutions Specialist at WSP Canada. As a key member of our Information Management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our business clients, providing them with expert guidance on Information Management (IM) solutions, tools, and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support and Collaboration: Provide operational support and troubleshooting on IM systems, including M365, SharePoint Online, and SharePoint 2016, to ensure seamless delivery of IM services to clients.
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Gather and document business requirements, design, and implement IM solutions for clients using tools such as SharePoint Online, Power Automate, MS Forms, Power Apps, and Power BI.
  • Site Configuration and Development: Assist in the design and creation of SharePoint sites, Team sites, and other configuration activities on IM platforms for clients.
  • Project Monitoring and Validation: Monitor development progress and validate IM solutions before release to the client.
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support to end-users and deliver formal and informal training to clients on IM solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate communication between clients and various IT teams, assisting all parties to explore and evaluate different potential solutions to develop practical and effective solutions that satisfy end-user needs.
  • Content Migration and Analysis: Analyze client information/content, plan, and execute migration of content as required from various sources.
  • Information Management Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement information management policies and procedures, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Participate in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for information management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT or Engineering, with 7+ years' business analysis experience, mostly in information management or collaboration projects.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft cloud-based collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Viva Engage, and Office 365 Productivity Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences, and superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to Have
  • ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL framework and processes.
  • Business Relationship Management: Experience in business relationship management and client-facing roles.
  • Information Security and Data Protection: Knowledge of information security and data protection best practices.
  • Agile Project Management: Experience with agile project management methodologies.
  • Solution Architecture: Knowledge of solution architecture principles and practices.
  • Change Management: Experience with change management processes and methodologies.
  • Technical Writing: Familiarity with technical writing principles and practices.
  • Records Management: Experience with records management processes and systems.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI.
