Job Description

The Westside Calgary Chinese Alliance Church is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Assistant Pastor, Children Ministry. This role is a key part of our pastoral team and will play a vital role in the spiritual growth and development of our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive children's ministry program that aligns with the church's mission and values.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of volunteers to assist with children's ministry activities.
  • Plan and lead worship services, Bible studies, and other activities for children.
  • Collaborate with other pastoral staff to ensure a cohesive and effective ministry.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to children and their families.
Requirements:
  • A degree from an accredited evangelical seminary or university.
  • At least three years of experience in Christian children's ministry in North America.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills.
  • A burden for children and a passion for their spiritual growth and development.
  • An appreciation for the cultural diversity of our congregations.
