About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our campus leadership team as a Center Director. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding our children, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Oversee the overall education program, supporting classrooms, and facilitating a positive and stimulating environment.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop new staff members, ensuring they are qualified, fit with our philosophy, values, and culture, and are up-to-date on the latest research in child development and safety precautions.
  • Family Connections: Create an environment that fosters strong family relationships through open and proactive communication between parents and teachers.
  • Mentoring and Career Growth: Understand team members' career goals and help them progress towards them for career satisfaction and longevity.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Alberta Childcare Licensing and Accreditation standards.
  • Child Development Supervisor (Level 3 required).
  • Reggio/Montessori experience (an asset).
